Testing the blogospehere waters

So I finally decided to dive in. Create a BLOG! This is the new frontier of adventure for a middle aged guy, y'know.

I remember casting trepidation aside, filling my sails with the winds of hope and deciding to seek my fortune in the US of A. A bright eyed 21 year old, full of life and ideals, out to change the world and out to make a splash. The drive and hope have not faded, the "fortune" has remained in sight, the journey has been fantastic but the definition of adventure seems to have changed.

Has it though? I don't know. Adventure has always been trying new things especially those where the outcome is uncertain, right? "This" is something new and I have no idea how it will turn out, only the confidence that I have taken the first step at trying to master something new.

So, now confident in the knowledge that the spirit of adventure is still alive in me, I'm ready to go off the beaten path, blaze a trail, make some memories. Let's hope the waters of the blogospehere are as inviting as they look and teeming with schools (of thought)!
